Need help with new climate controls and stereo

I've bot this to change my music system in my Subaru legacy spec B:

i thought that it would be like on your photos, but when i opened the box i found that it is black (ACC unit)

The problem is that it shows the temperature, mode etc but it doesn't respond to my actions. I push buttons but nothing happens. I'll make photos an maybe videos today.

My legacy is LHD like most cars in Russia. =)

Most likely a new 2007 Japanese part. The 2005-2006 Japanese interiors were silver like you were expecting, but switched to black this year. Our US cars still have silver HVAC/Radio controls, but are dual zone and do not have the double din panel option.

This is a single zone HVAC control. Are the Russian models dual zone or single? When a local member purchased a Japanese single zone HVAC control and plugged it into his dual zone US car, it did not work.

Russian models are single zone! It must work but it doesn't =( I want to find pinout of the ACC plug to solve this problem, maybe something has changed... This thing cost 350 us dollars and was delivered from Japan and it looks like this (mobile quality sorry) http://burtonsubaru.narod.ru/picture.jpg
