I called my local dealer, I think he wanted 600.00 or more for it.

The retail price should be three hundred and something from the dealer. SubaruWRXParts.com (Exeter Subaru) has them for $275. The Bosal uppipe is a good option as well. Very similar to the STI piece for $189 shipped (with OEM gaskets) from J-Spec Tuning.
