theres a diff b/w auto and manual?If you look at the chart in the last picture, you'll see that the front struts are for a sedan or wagon GT with AT, and the rears are for a wagon GT.

I question whether there is a noticeable difference between them, particularly since we are using them for USDM Legacies which were probably not even considered when STi was splitting hairs figuring out which spring goes with which Legacy. Strut fitment between MT and AT, sedan and wagon won't be a problem.

I think the MT vs AT difference has to do with weight, and weight transfer. I wouldn't put it past STi to engineer those things into the spring rate and windings.

Do you have any idea if these would work on a 2.5i wagon?I'm pretty sure they would fit, but I don't know what effect they would have on your wagon's handling, since I have no idea whether the USDM 2.5i and GT use the same struts.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the 2.5i and the GT have different struts. I'll ask my parts guy next week and see what I can find. I may be interested in them provided they fit and won't snap the smaller 2.5i strut in half. :P

I'm assuming that they will tighten up the ride a little.

argh....why am I doing this! I promised my wife that I wouldn't mod the 2.5i. It's a sickness.
