I rarely see any new legacys on the road so i was thinking that we should get some sort of NY NJ CT meet going on sometime. Anyone up for it even though its getting a bit cold, maybe at some ski/snowboard are and hang tearing up the mountian afterwards. that would be funny to see a bunch of Legacys and WRX's packing out the lot at some mountian.

Lets try a few ideas here:

A mall. Needs to have a place to eat.
- Palisades Center, Nanuet, NY
- Willowbrook, Wayne NJ

Any Bennigans Houlihans Applebees Chevys. Wide range of food so we do not turn anyone off.

A large park. I only know a few in Bergen County NJ (Saddle River Park System). No food here, but a large enough parking lot so we all can fit in.

What do you think? Any others?

btw if we do a sunday night, there is also a local street racing scene with tons of subarus about 4 miles from the mall...it would be cool to see all the turbo legacy's there

Next Saturday is wide open for me- I don't know how other's schedules are. My weekends are usually free, but I'm trying to get my father into his new house before Christmas. Friday nights are always cool with me too, if that helps anyone else. Although tonight is Friday so it's kind of short notice.

OK, so this is what were at so far:

From central connecticut its about 1hr. 30min.(per mapquest)

Also, it would be nice if someone who is familiar with the mall could tell us a store name to meet infront of/near. Also, the actual mall might not be the best place due to christmas shopping, so if there is a place near the mall that we will have plenty of parking lot space, that'd be swell.

I don't know if this will help, but we (nasioc Impreza peeps) have met on the "hill" at the Palisades Mall in the past. It's sort of diagonal left from the Cheesecake Factory and out towards the Dunkin Dounuts.

we should all meet in the commuter lot in the back..

if you are coming from the thruway north, get off the exit for the mall, make a left at the light at the end of the ramp, go through your first light, go over the highway, when you get to the mall ring road, make a right, keep going til your frist parking lot on your RIGHT hand side, thats the commuter lot, we can meet in there.

if you are coming from the thruway south, get off the exit, make a right off the ramp and stay to your right, go through your first and second lights, your first parking lot on the right will be the commuter lot....

for some reason i believe its lot j, but dont quote me, i could be wrong.

ok...I'm confused...there are 2 threads for this meet.

btw: The hill won't work on a Saturday afternoon, especially during the holiday shopping season. The commuter lot in carman493's thread is a better place to meet up.

Ok lets do the commuter lot thing dec 4th, it should be way more dead then the rest of the mall and I'm deffinatly going to have one of my camras on hand. BTW Butternut will be opening on Nov. 26th so I will be there on the 27th and 28th If any snowboarders or skiers want to hang on the slopes see ya there.
