sorry i'm a noob to winters (coming from the equatorial regions of south east asia), but what does snow/salt do to rims that warrants buying cheap rims for use solely in winters?

rust.. additional rocks and gravel kicking up will scratch em up pretty good too.

Yup. why waste money on wheels for the winter anyways. car is always dirty or snowy.

cause its one of the few proper offset steel wheels available.
