She had mentioned over at NASIOC.com that the car looks killer in person! I can't wait. Check out some of the features on the wagon. WAY KEWL!

Wish they would have gotten some close-ups of the turbo area, even as shrowded as it is.
I hope Marisa got me a good pic!

Thanks for the great shots of the new GT Subie girl.
It has all the goodies to eclipse the current rev completely.
I'll be glad to upgrade from my current 98GT. The extra torque and the 5 speed auto box will be killer together. No more manually putting the tranny in 2nd when entering highway, and then hoping it doesn' t slide into neutral on the the upshift.
I think I'll probably keep the old car as a beater and enjoy the new car as a treat for awhile

I lack the verbiage to adequately describe how much I want that car...that precise car, the silver wagon with manual, in leather (w/o the moon roof, however).
Even if I can't get it, I'll just get cloth, and go aftermarket through my dealer for the leather install.

YOU CAN'T GET THAT CAR KEVIN! (because I am going to get it) except I am definitely getting the moonroof! I can't wait either. I don't think I am going to be able to be patient enough to wait for the second allocation. I think I am going to freak. I sure wish the seats were auto-folding on the wagon. that sux that we don't get all the features.

I'm plenty happy without some of the electronic crap, yes crap, like power folding seats and stuff. why stand there and push a button when you can do it yourself. Something more to fix down the road. Same as power seats if you ask me. Crap. I think you all know my sound-offs on that.
I'd give SubieGal 2 thumbs up! :D

Hooray!! I'm with you. Who needs power seats? Once you find your comfortable driving position who moves the seat anyway? I suppose with multiple drivers power seat memory might be of some use, but hey how much effort does it take to move the bloody seat?

Eat it monkeys! :P :P Nothing wrong with a little luxury in the Subaru! I don't really NEED any of this stuff, it would just be nice to have. I also agree that if they are going to do power seats that they should have done some sort of memory feature otherwise that's gonna be a biatch when the wife drives the car.
FYI the folding rear seats available in other markets aren't powered IIRC. They're spring actuated. Yes, it's an additional moving part that can break, but it would just be so much more convenient than having to get in through each back door to lower each split seat or climb through the car. One lever and *pfft* you're done.
As for the power seats; meh. I'll take 'em if they come with the car (Limited), but I'm not partial either way.

Power seats without memory IS crappy. The Lexus style is great where the key fob to unlock the cars triggers the seat, steering, window, and radio presets. That's great so that by the time you get in, everything is already adjusted. For you single people where the other doesn't other drive the car, it's understandable. For the rest of us, that would be a welcome luxury even if infrequently used. I hate having to get mirrors and everything re-adjusted just for a quick errand.

If that is a workout, then you really need to work out. I'd much rather have a mutual workout the night before and not have to deal with that in the morning. You're just still dating Miss R. Palmer. ;) (You know I've got nothin but love, mang)

Somewhat back on topic, I remember seeing some pics of a black Legacy (RHD), track testing in the rain. Anyone know off-hand where I can find these?

I have the pics of the cars testing in Cali some months ago somewhere on my computer. I think it was a silver GT sedan, dark OB XT, and maybe a 2.5i wagon. There was a red one somewhere in the mix too IIRC.
