What is the best way to ship a set of wheels with tires. I was thinking of stacking them with cardboard in between the wheels and wrapping with those large celophane rolls.
Has anyone done this?

thanks,
Chris

you could do that...or do cardboard then a sheet of plywood on the out side of the card board and Band them together...

Two sets of two?

So:

Plywood
Cardboard
Rim/tire
Carboard
plywood
carboard
rim/tire
cardboard

Wrap and band together...

i've shipped with just cardboard on the outside and been fine. 2 layers on the outside of the wheel. run the pricing through the shipper's calculator to see if it'll be cheeper to send individually or in sets of 2.

Cardboard on both sides, taped a few times.

If you ship UPS, you'll have to send one tire/wheel as a package, two together will be too heavy. Also, there's a $5 per tire surcharge if not enclosed in the cardboard box.
