That's some sexy lighting. Did you use some colored blubs for those license plate lights?

yea,
switch the stock with a pair of White Super refractor 5 LED bulbs, turns out it is blue =)

Ahh. Nice. I was thinking about swithing to LED bulbs for the turn signals and tail lights too. Just for that cool factor of doing the immediate on off characteristics of the LED bulbs.

was looking for unity in my overall color scheme, so after I got the headlights, figure i should switch the plate lights too =)
I did considered switching the tail and turn signals too, but that wouldn't do much for my purpose
love to see how the turn signals and tail look with LEDs though =P

I went for the 168s with 5 LEDs on each bulb
it's a bit dim compare to normal halogens, would have got for the 6 LED bulb, maybe next time :)
I don't mean to rain on your parade but anything "blue" coming out of the car is reserved for Police, and altering your lighting system in any way is illegal, unfortunately.
Be careful with the cops especially with the rear lighting. Something like this is an easy way for an attentive cop to pull you over and see 'what else is wrong'.
I've been pulled over a couple times in the past in Richmond and Vancouver and have received vehicle inspection orders.
Car too low, licence plate lights removed, white rear turn signals instead of yellow or red, etc, etc... I've been reprimanded for them all...

guess if it wasn't for the bad weather, I would've been caught already =)
For some reason, it doesn't look as blue in real life...camera setting maybe. I'll try to take some more after the snow is gone.

you don't want to be pulled over with alcohol on your breath or some chick just finishing giving you a hummer a la 'Crash" (which I just watched- awesome!)
-and have a copper sniffing around looking for other things to write you up for.:icon_wink
