Damn, man, that looks really awesome. Those are the hyperblack Torques right? I was on the fence about the Torques as a wheel possibility for me in the future, but that looks excellent on the OBP. Not boring or too flashy, perfect mix of style and bling.

I think those hyperblack rotas are the coolest "blackout" wheels I've seen on a black car. Just different enough to stand out, while maintaining the monochrome theme. Nice.

btw...with the extra weight of the 18x8 and the big tires...did you notice your perfomance drop?

definitely not.
grip improvement is so huge that any other performance decrease is not noticed.
for reference I've had sti wheels with 225/45 17 re070's and azenis 615's in the same size. no comparison.

I originally wanted to go with 17x8 or 17x8.5 and 245/40 17, but happened upon a good deal on the wheels and the tires popped up for sale a couple days later .......... blind luck since I wasn't planning on running race tires for at least another year.
