Yup! I FINALLY got a digital camera and been taking pics. I feel like a kid w/ a new toy!! :icon_bigg
This was my 2 week early B-Day present, due to the 2007 LGT calendar thread. These are the ones I feel are decent enough to post.

Congratulations!

Thanks.

Been raining for 5 days now. Took some dirty ones, after playing in some mud from the dirt roads.

Had to get what's left of the leaves. And made a furry friend along the way. :)

Got more to come from my 35mm pics. I'm a noob at scanning my 35mm prints to the correct size for posting here.

Congrats on your new toy. Looks like you're getting some great scenery with your LGT.

Did you say your new toy was a digital camera, but you're scanning 35mm prints... I'm confused. Regardless, thanks for sharing your shots.

You live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. One of my coworkers just moved out there a couple months ago and sent back pictures. Jealousy ensued.

Yeah, got a new Nikon digital. Have always had a Canon 35mm. Gonna take the 35mm prints I've already had and get them on here too. Probably burned to CD. Since I'm a noob at scanning them.

projectrally, it wasn't dirty enough for me. If it wasn't hunting season... :icon_bigg
Aczwild, I can't wait. Hope it's not raining!

Thanks for the feedback and compliments! Stay tuned!

Anibalz, Thanks. If you're ever in this (or the Montreal) area, let me know.

Today the sun came out w/ no sign of rain. So I had to go out and snap more w/ no clouds.

Looks great, especially with those WRX wheels. I am contiually puzzled why those classy 7-spoke wheels didn't get put on the Legacy GT. Actually, I think the 5-spokes look good, but better on the WRX...

Of course, the Legacy should have gotten the four piston front, and two-piston rear brakes on the Legacy's larger discs, but that is another matter.

Your wagon looks great, and you seem to be having a lot of fun!

Hey NYtoVT,

Beautiful pix and a nice camera! :)

Yah, the scenery out there is gorgeous! :)

thanks guys!

ghibli99, the prices of houses here (in decent areas) range from $150,000+. Depending also how close you are to the water, downtown and/ or the ski resorts. Condos are $100,000+ and 2BR apts are $800+/ month.

IWanna... I agree on the WRX 17's. The lines flow smoother. But I miss the LGT 17's. Just tired of seeing them on women's NA wagons. I'm actually getting bored already w/ the WRX 17's. My next winter set-up, I hope to get the Saab 92x's 17's.

Legacy_Otaku, Yeah, it's nice and relaxing to see it everywhere you go here. And everyday, the same location is a different scene depending on the weather and position/ timing of the sun. It never gets boring to look at.

I wanted the WRX 17s for my winters... and unfortunately couldn't afford to pay out of pocket for anything, after potentially selling you my LGT 17s, when I bought the car.

Maybe in the future... Let me know if those go up for sale... :D I've thought of how cool those WRX 17's would look with Alsa's chrome metal-deposition spray paint.

I have Dunlop Graspics on the LGT rims now, and they are really loose on dry pavement. I fear that I am wearing through them like crazy, but it has only been a couple weeks, and a couple hundred miles... so it is hard to tell how fast they may or may not be wearing.

They should grip like none other in the snow... but I wonder if Dunlop M3s or something ever so slightly more pavement-oriented would be better. Maybe I'll change my mind back once the white stuff starts flying.

My dad just got a new Canon XTi, or XRi or some sort of ~10Mp Canon DSLR body. He showed it to me... Wow. I am sure 97% of that camera would be wasted on me. I am really not a photographer. It is cool that he can swap lenses, flashes, etc.. from his EOS film-SLR, though. Modularity can be very good.

These were hard to find w/o being sold too quick. Finally caught some. Painting them was gonna be the idea to resemble the 3.0 Spec B ( & Red Beast) 18's.

For X-mas, I want to get my summer 18's. I'll let you know if I sell these, but won't dismount 'till March.

BTW, my digital is a Nikon Coolpix 3100.

DAMMIT I want to move to Vermont!!

NYtoVT, first shot is Lake Champlain, but can't tell what road you are on. Next shot is Shelburn Farms. Awesome place. My wife and I stayed at one of the cottages at the Inn. My grandmother used to work for the Webbs way back in the day. We actually stayed in the Pottery Cottage which was where my grandma worked.

^^^ good eye!
1st pic is 1/4 mile down the road from Shelburne Farms. 1/2 mile from the boat dock.
Making a left out the Farms lot, it's a small clearing I happened to see.

Damn... if the Pacific Northwest doesn't work out, I know where I'll be looking. Those prices for that kind of beauty? Sign me up.

Hopefully better than Spokane, WA. My friend is dying out there, and his home only cost about $150k.

And here are the last of my pics (for now). They were actually the first, with my 35mm Canon... before the digital, DIY grill and my current WRX 17" winter set-up.
