View Full Version : Will These Rims/Tires Fit
I bought a set of 18" rims with 225/40 tires off of a member here that I going to pick up. My question is:
Will these fit inside my car? Or do I have to borrow an SUV/truck?
Thanks

good luck getting 3 in the trunk, but 2+2 should work just fine.

Post some pics Rob. I just bought some winter wheels from MA last week.

+1 for the 2+2
bring some cardboard to lay down on your seats

blankets or large towels work fine, if they are wrapped under and around the tires correctly.
Two tires in the trunk also work, and you can get away with tipping one up diagonally, resting on the other, if you work around the trunk torsion rods.
worked fine for 1400+ miles.

I piled in 2 sets of wheels with the tires mounted. I layed out 6 in the back seat of the sedan (2 stacks of 3) and threw in 2 the trunk. I still had room in the front seat for track gear and tools and such. Trust me, you can fit a lot in the GT ;) And yes, you can still see out of the rear window.
