I hear ya, I am trying to decide between gunmetal and black. I have 20% tint on my Legacy, so I am thinking the black will look good with the chrome lip.

Gunmetal.

Black on a white car, the wheels will dissappear, and it will look like a police cruiser.

gunmetal at least would have a little more definition, and not completely dissappear.

I don't particularly like truly black wheels in general. Even dark gray is better. I tend to like medium gray to bright silver.

I personally am a big fan of the rota wheels..but if I had to choose, i would go with the lighter finish (anthracite).

typespeed has black wheels on a SWP sedan. I'm partial to the anthracite I think.

Thanks for everyone's response. I like the anthracite ones as well. As for the brakes, I will end just painting my current ones black or dark grey, eventually I will do a brembo upgrade, but until I get to Stage II, that would be pointless.

The wheels that I am really partial to are the chrome lip with a different color in the middle....I like em!

Is there a wheel manufacturer that allows you to finance their rims?

probably not and if they did the interrest would be high. open a charge card that gives you cash back and a low interrest rate pay if off as soon as possible. monthly would be best. bosco

Of the two, I prefer the lighter shade.

This pic of a member's car is attached to show how awesome black with polished lip looks on a SWP Legacy.

I love bright silver wheels on SWP- or the other extreme; black.
I am not a fan of charcoal-shade wheels on white, I think charcoal wheels look much better on other shades, like silver, black, atlantic blue... but everyone is entitled to their opinion.
