Borrowed from the Scoobypedia, with a little re-formatting:
the axis value “Load” for ign and fueling tables, given in unit of g/rev, can be obtained from a MAF reading in g/s and the RPM of the engine.
example: My engine logged 202 g/s at 5666rpms. so, in order to convert 202 g/s to g/rev, we do this:
- divide rpms by 60 to turn it into rev (which is actually revolution per second, not revolution per minute, which is pretty much uniformly referred to in the ECU as RPM. I denote this because in conversation “revs” usually refers to RPMs. NOT FOR ECUS IT DOESN’T!) so, 5666/60=94.434
- then, we divide g/s by rev so, 202/94.434=2.139 g/rev, which is what the axis is in.

I think he was asking about which hex address it is located at.....
And I don't know the answer to that. When I tried using it on my cousin's '06 5eat, none of them worked. Perhaps they have more updated definitions available now....
Also try the Openecu forums, I'm sure someone there should be able to help out...

Yes ! I need the Engine Load ADDRESS for ecuExplorer, the 2005 LGT address does not give the corect values.

Have you tried activated them all, and then looking to see which of them works?

I could've sworn I saw that TDC posted up what to use when sending him logs for his email tune. Maybe do a search on his threads/posts?

They did, but for the 2005. I need it for the 2006.

try one at a time. there is no definite address. it varies depending on the version of ECU you have.
same goes for the IAM
(i have never found a working one)

How do you add that load address into Ecuexplorer? My 3.0.25 version does not have that address listed...

I believe you can specify them with the EcuEdit software available via http://www.epifansoft.com. EcuEdit is shareware which means some functions are crippled or have time delays associated with them, unless you pay some money.
You can also specify them with the new Enginuity logger, but it's still under test and won't be formally incorporated into the Enginuity release distribution until probably next month. Enginuity.org

Ohh....OK, I don't feel so stupid now. Thanks Jon!
I'll just wait for enginuity, as paying for a logging software nowadays isn't well spent money.
