Sorry for the public discussion Jeremy, but I figure it could be free market research!

I personally would buy a CR Equal length header with the hi-temp insulating coating.
There are a few others on the market, but
-many come with their own UP
-require their own UP due to special flanges
-come in stainless most often, sometimes ceramic.
-most seem a bit pricey for bare metal pipes.

So who else thinks this is a solid business venture?

I don't know if its EL but i think i read something about crucial developing coated manifolds. Don't quote me on that though.

That was porting/polishing/coating OEM parts.
I'm looking for a new piece.
Jeremy and I have talked about this, but he has other things on his plate.

I'm just trying to compile the data to help get this off the ground.

No Jeremy should finish the CBE with polished dual tips ;)

But make it out of 321SS, not 304SS

While I'd like to see more EL header options there's already a quite a few out there since we can use anything that'll fit an STI (Perrin, APS, GTSpec, Invidia, QTP, MadDad, Gruppe-S sometime). True none are coated, but Jeremy could start coating again.

Catbacks... now that's a TOTALLY different situation, not much competition there for LGT/OBXT, especially for WAGONS! Heck I'm local, I'll volunteer as a test mule!

just bought the perrin, but it would have been nice to have another option.

We've had an extremely good design that I made a long time ago... but it has been on the backburner as the P&P&C OEM manifolds have been working so very well. We'll see... it'll happen eventually I'm sure. There's obviously a market for it.

I hope eventually means before my Rust Through warranty expires:lol::lol::lol::lol:.

JK, I know how busy you have been. But sooner would be better than later.
Would make a nice birthday or christmas present (2007).

I just got hit with changes in benefits expenses and healthcare jumped up a lot so mod money is decreasing in availability.:icon_mad:

little bump.
Did change my mind though.
like the integrated UP designs, or one that has a 3 or 4 bolt UP flange (I know it would mean changing your UP too).
