Yeah I know, Paul was spouting off about it a few days back. :D

At least they have some work they can do to the twin-turbo models. :)

Na, IM. :D He's a pretty decent guy from what I gather.

He's a bastard, I tell you, a baastard!

Oh well, I get to brag about the new car eventually. :D

Cheers,

Hansen is a decent enough bloke most of the time, but I hear rumours of another B4 ( ) that is pushing 315ps+ And that was on a 39 degree day, with dyno room temps over 42 celsius :o

Once tuning is completed, 340-ish is possible with no more than a panel filter, IC, centre pipe (sport cat), muffler. Oh, and a sub-com and boost controller. A water sprayer may be fitted for safety at the next run too...

Mr. "AVO Japan" is really turning up the heat on the twin turbo  Pics, charts etc may be forth coming from the next tuning day if we can get the printer to work

PS wonder if anyone is gonna notice this thread

No I am afraid this thread will be ignored ;)

Looking forward to more TT news

I'd sure like to know the results. Man, you guys in Japan seem to get SOOO much stuff to play with, it's unreal.

Wish that were true here, in the US, but no such luck, unless it's with Vette's etc. -- not what I want anyway.

well, the less the people interested, the easier the read.

later,
i.

Oh my :o The temp dropped a few degrees yesterday and my car is now simply amazing. Acceleration is stupendous :D Glad I have RE-01 gumballs, coz lesser rubber would be all over the place.

This thing is not even properly tuned yet, so with some fine tuning, the numbers should get truly ridiculous. Rumours of a boost controller and track timing equipemnt being fitted soon may be true

Yippee :D

I am assuming this is a RSK - B REVISION ?

Yessir! :D

May not have some of the response of the D-rev down low, but oooop top the world is a different place

Cheers :)

M8, I've been in contact with a guy who lives in that part of the world, and he seems to have trouble getting the fuel with a good enough octane rating to run really big outputs safely. Can you get it?

Cheers:)

I believe that guy in my part of the world is me, 95 ron octane is the best available here, there is lots of octane boost and toluene available but I'd rather not depend on that stuff. In reality also the actual octane will be probably 93 ron or so since they love to mix lower octance stuff with the premium stuff.

Well, as long as you know, or know someone who knows how to tune (preferably with a 4 wheel dyno handy if possible ;) ) I guess there is potential to at least get the thing to stop pinking long enough to get the outputs up.

I'd invest in some decent monitoring - at least a knocklink for starters (perhaps you've already done that). In std form the older era cars knock a fair bit already... :(

There is no 4wd dyno here, I have the sub com on the way from Ross, I hope his base program at least will take care of the pinging, I'm adding the TMIc after soon as I'm sure that will help in the climate alot. Then I can start looking at power increases.

There are 4-5 other TT's in the Island, and lots of the new twin scrolls are begining to show up, they all ping to.
