i have been working on this project for the past half week, but it's close to being done. i still need to respray the cf overlay with clear coat, and buff them. i think it's gonna look killer once it's finished.

How thick is the material? Where did you get it and how much? Would this work to cover teh "wood" trim?

Very nice job, looks like it could have come from the factory that way. Excellent fit and attention to detail.

Again, bro, I think that looks great! :D

As to lowering - lemmie see what my wife's schedule look like in terms of call. I know that she switched hers around so that I'd have Father's Day "off" from having to take care of Anna. I'll let you know by tomorrow via LERSOC PM. :)

Looks good!

I would also try to find some way to do something about the two easily scratched silver side trim pieces.

well the walkthrus are kinds pointless for this since it depends on the kind of resin you use. but the basic procedure is to sand the plastics down, use a uretane black paint coat, dry it out, smooth it out, put some resin on the parts, lay the cf cloth, press all the air bubles out, then lay another coat of resin, let it dry, add some outher coat of resin with sanding agent, dry it, smooth it out, clear coat it. like i said it all depends on the resin you use.
