Wow, just because I have a 2.5i instead of a Turbo, I don't get welcomed into the club? I thought this was a forum for Legacys owners...after all, not everyone wants a turbo, just a great car. I'm amazed that all these people that say they're buying a GT in the future get welcomed with open arms, but someone that shells out 23Gs for an i gets shunned! If this is truly a GT only club, then call it the Legacy GT owners association, not the Legacy owners association!

Although the turbo model seems to be more prominent on the boards, please do not take this as a sign that you are unwanted. We are a site of equal opportunity, regardless of make or model, gender or race. The only way the naturally aspirated section become more active is for you, the owner, to participate in it. I checked your previous post about your introduction and I'm sorry that no one posted in it. I understand your frustration with this site because of that. Everyone has their own reasons for purchasing such car and we all respect that. Nowhere in this site do we shun owners of the NA car. :) I'm sorry that you feel this way and we at the forum hope that you can still feel welcome here.

Now onto your car, I'm glad you are thoroughly pleased with your ride. I noticed you installed an aftermarket sunroof. I think you are the first one on the board to have such accessory. How is it? One thing we constantly hear is: this thread is worthless without pics :). Hope you understand why no one posted in your thread. Also, do you plan to modify your car anymore or keep it stock?

Must've been bad timing. I didn't see your post because I lost power soon after you made it. This board is definately slanted towards the GT, but I haven't seen any overt signs of distaste for the 2.5i (now auto vs manual is another story). Happy belated welcoming to the board and please share any mods you make to your "i".

Welcome to the forum. We can still do the same suspension mods, though. :D

Thanks for the info, and sorry for the rant...I still wonder how many "future" buyers are 16 year olds that has a neighbor with a GT! Kinda like explaining to your 12 year old daughter that her chat friend "cuddler" is really a 45 year old dweeb from Iowa (no offense to 45 year olds or Iowans, Iowaians, Iowaers, ahh, you get it).
As far as the roof, it seems to work really well. They used the stock liner so looks like factory. It has auto close and is programable for 2 pre-set positions. The dealer had to take it back to adjust it a little, and they also repaired an installer caused dent - paintless dent repair is a miracle! I'll take some photos this weekend, and post in the exterior forum if I can figure out how to post a pic. The Regal Blue is a bear to photograph...it either looks black in contrasty sun, or muddy blue if overcast. In real life, it looks great! No serious mods in the works except new Infinity speakers, shift knob + bushings, and maybe a tranny mount. I have removed all of the stickers + visor warnings. My only frustration is I can't figure out how to remove the door panels. What a pain...I've seen the diagrams, but no luck!
Thats all for now.
Thanks,
Dave

Welcome to the board! No-one should be ostracized here regardless of what they drive (I haven't been booed out for my Nissan Sentra yet :D).

Sorry if your first post was overlooked, happens sometimes unfortunately :( Thanks for persevering!
Hope you enjoy your car, and the website!

Thanks Stef,
I am having a great time with the Leg (I'll have to ask my wife if this makes me a Leg man!). It's my first Boxer car, but I used to have Boxer powered BMW motocycle. BTW, my son has a Nissan 240SX SE which he spends way too much time + money on. You know us boys and our toys...
