06 cubby same as 05 ??? NW Ohio 06 owner?

Anyone with a 2006 Legacy taken out the cubby yet? I am interested to know if there are any differences between it and the 2005. Mainly the door, dimensions, etc.

Anyone near Toledo, OH that would let me take a look? I would offer a nice 'deal' for anyone that would let me look at their cubby.

It's the same as the 05. Nothing changed in the dimensions of the interior parts, so the cubby from an 05 and 06 are interchangable.

No light inside the 06 cubby. Other than that, they look pretty spot on.

The clock is different, no airbag indicator light (thus different wiring), also I think it's got the set button now.

The trip computer is different, but the actual cubby and bezel is the same. (there's no light in the cubby anymore, but the space for it is still there)

Is the wiring connector there for the light at least? I guess it is just a re-used cubby from 05... strange that there wouldn't be a light there. It's kinda useless anyway... should have been brighter and only came on with the door open.

As long as the cubby is split into top and bottom. Meaning the bottom or 'floor' of the cubby unsnaps from the top section of the cubby.

Described here. I don't care how the bottom of the cubby screws into the back.... I use the snaps up front only. I just need to verify these snaps.
