Greetings. I don't know when or how I started looking at the subie. I guess it was about a month ago. I've always enjoyed looking at cars and reading car magazines. I was looking to move away from the SUV and into something more sporty with better gas mileage. I liked the idea of AWD after driving my wife's A4 but I didn't want to spend 40K. I saw the Outback and thought it was a good balance between SUV and sport sedan with its 8.7 inch clearance. Then I drove the Legacy GT wagon and new I had found what I was looking for. I preferred the one-tone paint without the side cladding, and the suspension felt sportier. I've had it less than a week and am looking forward to my 9-hour road trip to Tahoe tomorrow. I've added tint and XM is being installed as I type. I've enjoyed the pics and posts on this site since my salesman turned me on to it a month ago. Thanks everyone. Your posts and pics pushed me over the top and I'm happy to share my Legacy enthusiasm with y'all. My wife could care less about cars and she's tired of me talking about it.

Hi. Another newbie to the forum here. But I am definately not new to Subaru. I have been driving a 1992 Legacy, passed on to me from my mom when she got a 2003 Forester. Unfortunately that Forester was totaled 2 weeks ago, so we bought another one, a 2005, and I got the new Legacy! I've had my eyes on it since I saw the first pictures, and I now have a Brilliant Silver Metallic 2.5i in the driveway. Wish I could have gotten the GT. :(
