But not to the site. I've been lurking around for the past week or so, felt a little dirty doing that so thought I should sign up.

A few cars are on my "To Buy" list, and the GT did jump up to the #1 spot a few weeks ago...but I've got a couple of questions I hope you guys can help me out with ..

1) Beside's the GT color you own or intend to own, what color really made your eye's pop?

2) I've read the other posts, but besides the wind noise when the windows are down, or the slight HVAC or dual-zone problems, are there any other nuances that i should be wary of?

BTW,I was thinking of getting the non-limited GT in either AB,RB or Black
with the compass/dimming mirror as the only add-on

I don't have a Legacy, so I can't answer #2, but I'm in the middle of looking for a Satin White Pearl 2.5GT sedan (non-Ltd.). When I first visited the Subaru dealer, the color that REALLY caught my eye was the Atlantic Blue Pearl color. I had never seen a stock color so beautiful and the sun wasn't even out that day.

Agree with axis008, the ABP really caught my attention at first but now I'm looking for a LGTL Wagon in SWP. The SWP has so many color variations, under differing light conditions, that it is just beautiful. IMHO, the only thing they could do to that color to make it more vibrant, would be to add slightly more butter creme - just 1 or 2 ticks more than the current SWP. That would add even more depth and additional color variations. Don't get me wrong, the SWP is a great color and the one I'm pursuing for my own car. And, it's possible that I'll "darken" slightly with age to the color that I'm seeing in my mind's eye.

WRT the issues you mentioned, another area to watch for is the "stuttering" power delivery while in gear at speed. Do a search on "stuttering" and it'll come right up. Some are experiencing it as initial symptoms that have resolved themselves, and others are not seeing it resolve and are taking it to their dealer for appraisal. SOA will probably do a TSB on the issue since it seems to be ECU related.

Welcome to the site as a MEMBER, great to have you on deck.

If there is one piece of advice Im sure anyone will give you in here is, take a LGT to an extended test drive. As I have said to a lot of members in here, you will be spending in the US30K + mark so you should be giving the car every possible chance to make you feel a winner during the test.

Talk to your dealer and tell they yr concerns and Im sure they will be put to rest ASAP.
Let us know how you go and all the best.
Adam.
