During a recent trip to Japan for the Tokyo Auto Salon, STI was generous to offer HSPN Networks (http://www.hspn.com) the opportunity to drive its limited edition Subaru Impreza WRX STI S204 (http://news.hspn.com/articles/210/1/STi-Releases-Limited-Edition-S204-(600-units-available)), but there was one problem. STI could only spare 120 minutes before the car needed to be returned and none of our editors could obtain a license to drive in Japan on short notice. Still, that gave us 120 reasons to find someone that had experience driving Subarus and would be qualified to drive one of STI's vehicles. We begged and pleaded with Paul Hansen (http://sevenphotos.com/web/default/) who graciously provided us with 120 minutes of raw fun in this STI. (Paul really let us come along on his ride, but of course, we did not forget to bring along the video crew for this rare encounter, so check it out: this exclusive footage (http://videos.hspn.com/?videoid=21) on a test track in a remote location in Japan).

For more information on the Subaru Impreza S204, check out this information (http://news.hspn.com/articles/210/1/STi-Releases-Limited-Edition-S204-(600-units-available)) our staff in Japan collected for the Subaru enthusiasts.

Like ESPN, even the logo ;)

Vid was ok, but footage was looped twice and some of the effects were annoying.

Nice! He's lucky there was no oncoming traffic, though, driving in the left-hand lane like that. http://www.msprotege.com:8080/smilies/nono.gif (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=0&forumid=10#)

Hahaha i actually know both of those songs for those who care.

First one most people have prob heard is "Club Foot" by Kasabian. Next one is "Disco Science" by Mirwais

SICK...I didn't like the new frontend when it first came out. Its definately growing on me. Is the STI gonna get a bump in hp/tq in the next few years?

Cool. Now make a video of you shipping out 100 spec b bumper kits!! What track was that by the way. I've watching alot of races lately and I am begining to admire the beauty of a well kept and designed track. Kinda of like how golfers admire the green I guess.

Have to admit, this is a great vid of everyday driving and the driveability of the S204.

Man... if those two s204's had head-on'ed each other what year do you think we'd be teleported to?
