Should i or Shouldnt i? STI GT.

Dear Guys...

After seeing a few STI GT's around..

I was thinking of changing my old ride to the New STI GT and also claim back my some import taxes for my company...

The bad thing is, i have to remove all my mods and change over which is a bitch...

And i still like my car very much being a black car..

What do you guys suggest??

Love yr current ride, it looks amazing to say the least. I am totally unsure how many units if any are still avail. Thats only a call to STi to find out the lay of the land so to speak. The STi will certainly be a great unit to own and one that I believe will hold value for years to come. Hopefully like the 2 Door Rex that was such a success both here in AUS and NZ. It certainly a personal choice and certainly a tough one. But before you go jumping the gun so to speak, hit up STi and see what is still avail. As everyone here has suggested there is no BLACK units avail and I think very limited numbers in both BS and UG.

Personally I thought the "almost sold" was b/s but know someone trying to find a manual sedan and he's yet to find a dealer who can help him...

Yes I sort of got the same info from STi on that all manuals were gone regardless of colour and the EAT's weren't far behind this.

Have your friend try Albroys in Traralogon, Vic. They had a few available as of 3 weeks ago, being in the country you may be in luck. Fools wanted $65500 on the road though when l enquired :icon_eek:

l thnk the dealer delivery fees being charged are over the top, l refuse to pay that much for DD. l got mine for $63500 on road mostly because l avoided the $2k plus they try and sting you for it and partly because l was lucky :)

darkwatch, i'd be waiting for the 2.5 when that comes out, more than likey they will release another tuned by STI, my gt is only 9 months old, if i'd known that the tuned by STI 2.0 ltr was coming out i would of waited and kept my WRX till then.

Yes Subaru have always loved to keep the cards close to their chest. I dont think this is a bad thing as it ALWAYS keeps our competition guessing.

I would say IF they release an STi version and a big big IF, it wont be until atleast 2008 which will be towards the end of the production run of the current shape.
