What do you like the "new" Impreza that shows at the Auto Sport fair in Birmingham, England. It has a Boxer six with 281 hp. Also it black leather interior, black carpets, extra sounddampening. It comes with the navi and a exclusive Pioneer soundsystem, bluetooth handsfree AND an Ipod adapter. Not that it's a Legacy but still...

Once they left the "Bug Eye" look in '04, I'm no longer a fan. The 04-05 was OK but this new '06 front grill and all is terrible. Looks like 1/2 B9 Tribeca 1/2 car. And those tail-lights, ughhh! Not my cup of tea.

I thought the recent Impreza styling rather ugly, at first, also. But, the longer I look at it, the more it grows on me. Makes me think of an angry wasp or the like.

Jeeze I was about to post this the other day, but oh well. Pretty cool that Subaru is really recognizing the Tuner/Sleeper market, a true STi Legacy may very well be on the horizon!

The front end is growing on me. IF the center grille surround were painted black, it might even look a tad better. I like the shape and thin surround of the side grilles between the headlights and the center grille, and the headlights themselves. the bumper cover is done pretty well, too. If the side grilles were to "eliminate the middleman", It could look really nice. Don't like the new tail lights. 04-05 tail lights would fit, though... or aftermarket LED jobbies, or something.

If only the USDM Legacy came with that equipment... 280hp stock... (even if the spec D isn't an H6, it would be nice to see an H6 Legacy 3.0R in the US, as a lux alternative to a sportier-equipped 2.5T GT.)

Black leather interior and carpets for ANY of the paint colors... (black headliner from JDM STI-Tune model would be welcome, as well as the brushed black center console faces)

The Legacy doesn't seem to want for sound dampening, other than some wind noise around the windsheild area that some people report... but the Pioneer sound system with input and bluetooth hands free sounds nice.

WTF is a good reason for the Legacy not to have that option? I am getting sick of hearing that this car has this, that car has that, and the legacy has none of it, and no truly easy way of adding it.

To hear that Subaru is selling cars with good options in other markets, JDM a given, now Britain, and Europe elsewhere... but not the US is frustrating to say the very least.

But the Spec D is not the STi, the non Sti Impreza over here only has 230 hp.

True, but its got an STi badge on it. Man...with all these combinations, I can't wait for the 2.5TS Spec G to come out with an WRX badge with 263HP!!

I think that you have to get the handsfree as an option worldwide, I sure did courtesy of Subaru(even though made by Delphi)

As far as i know its 281PS. German PS = one hp Jap PS= 1.1010101 or something HP so it comes out at 296hp. I wouldn't be surprised if it was almost identical to the usdm ej225 in the sti.

This is probably going to be the rumored STI limited coming for 2007. The one thing I don't like is the rims. Why do they insist on using the same rims for the STI four years in a row? It would look so much better with some gunmetals on it.
