Hi there,
I am new here.
I am from the Netherlands, and already spending several hours reading on this interesting forum.
I am seriously thinking about buying a Subaru Legacy.
The only problem is that in the Nethetlands they only sell the 2.0, the 2.5i
and the 3.0. So unfortumately the GT is no option.
The 3.0 version only comes overhere with an automatic gear, and I hear mixed stories about this combination.
The 2.0 is definately no option either.
Start reading again ......
Welcome!
You'll just have to move, I guess. Australia, New Zealand or US strike your fancy? :D

Hey Andre*k and a big welcome to the boards from Downunder. Glad that you have joined and are liking the format. If you have any questions or want to give any input, please do.
Enjoy and hope the GT comes to a country near you soon. The 3.0 slushbox (EAT) isnt a bad combo it just could be better BUT in saying that, plenty of tests have been done and no failures so far, so take it for a test drive and YOU be the judge.
All the best....
Adam.

You'd be the only one in the Netherlands...
Does the UK get the GT? I'm sure they would, they got the P1 WRX!

In the UK they have their steeringwheel on the right, not over here in the Netherlands.

With talk like that, it's like you're giving up!
In NZ we have the best wines and the best vodka, and the greatest number of cafe's per capita! :D

It's my understanding that the UK gets the 3.0 H6 and not the Turbo 4.
My family went to live in England for 5 years when I was a kid, we took one of our US cars with us. Actually had very few problems with having the wheel on the 'wrong' side, was much easier than you'd think. Of course, my mom had a lot more problems switching driving in the US vs England when we went back and forth, as she no longer had the handedness of the car to use as a cue for which side of the road she should be on.

That's interesting Stef, never thought of it that way as someone who drives on both sides from time to time.
Maybe your family should have brought a right hand drive car back that way at least the handedness wouldn't have been a problem :P
