New, but old :)

Hi there!

I've just registered, I have a 1998 Legacy GT, auto. It's my new car while I'm in the US, I have an Impreza back home.

It's a car long in the tooth, over 160,000miles. But it runs well apart from a few small bits I need to tidy up.

I notice there's a big emphasis on the later models on this site, but I hope that my "old school" :lol: car will still be tolerated!

Of course your old school car will be "tolerated" :lol

Truth be known this site was initially started with a bunch of Subaru enthusiasts who were looking for a place to come and discuss and speculate on the 05 Turbo legacy coming here to the US. Hopefully the spectrum will broaden with time. You are most welcome to come here and share whatever you like!

What brings you over here and for how long?

I've always been a big fan of the big brother of the Impreza, the interior build has always been more solid.

I'm here in the US on a PR Visa - its taken me 2 whole months of paperfiling to get my papers and SSN, DL etc. But I'm finally ready to start getting work now. :lol:

I have family in Ohio, and I've never worked outside of NZ so that's why I moved. ;)

And so far, it's been really good. :D
