I was gonna say the same EJ20H-TT before scrolling down far enough to see your writing. The TE37's look pretty decent. I'm just a little more preferential in some cases to seeing OE wheels or similar in general, at least on certain models.

Dope? I don't get it. I must be too old for that language. (just shy of 22)

Heh, that white Leg Sedan looks pretty nice. Ride height looks nice, not too flashy. Pretty sweet. As subtle as the changes visually to the exterior of the Pacific-Rim Legacy RS models was, it was still rather enticing, and still is. I still like the BD/BG models best of any on the street so far. The front reminds me a little of the Skyline R33 too. :)

Man, I love that white one up above! I wish I could easily get that JDM stuff for mine. I don't suppose I should put a pic of my own car in here, but I like it, so I will. :D

Nice - always liked the white BD, it makes the hood scoop stand out more.

Maybe it's because of where you live rather than your age. :)

Not a big fan of the extra spotlights.

Looks to be in good condition though.

Auto or Manual ?

EJ20H TT,

She's a manual E-tune 'C' revision.

Only ever seen one other in the UK, and that was for-sale.

The extra light are fogs , not spots.
Why 2 sets? got no idea.
May change them to spots at some point though.

Nice - you'll have the full 205kw to play with then.

Be careful though that model in NZ has a history of having the big end let go.

Gotta love a nice BD/BG. :)

Yep 280bhp :D

Always run on 98ron fuel + octane booster, just to be safe :)

The one reason they let go, is de-catting, resulting in overboost on 2nd stage = det (especially with low grade fuel).

Not the easiest vehicle to mod for power :( Unless you want to go down ECU replacement route.

There is always the STi swap option though that's quite a bit more intensive. Personally, I'm fine with a good single high-flow cat. I'm not a tree hugger, but a good high-flow cat isn't holding much back on the power end, and it's a little quieter. Good compromise. :)

Yep decatting is not recomended.

But there are alot of stories of hard driven GTB's dieing.

Good servicing and sensible driving one should be fine.

Mine spends most it time on the primary turbo.
Provides a v6/v8 thrust at low rpms

Secondary kicks in at about 4.5k, so you need to be commited (scenery blurs) :D
Great for quick, safe manovers.

4.5k in 5th =100mph+

The only mod on mine is a 2.5" centre & Back box. Had the cat re-weld back in. With no centre muffler.
Provides a nice deep burbled sound track, without being cabin obtrusive and attention seeking.

The single turbo option is there, but then you might aswell buy an Impreza.
IMO, the wolf in sheeps clothing family car approach, is what the Legacy is all about :)

Good point. When you fly by a cop and the radar reads 120 he'll just look at it and think it must be a malfunction - no way that family hauler could be going that fast. :)

Plus the ability to p***off owners, of more expensive cars :D

I love this body style! I used to have a 99 Limited in the US. Not much punch compared to you guys, but still a fun car at the time. After I found out about them, I was definitely wishing for the turbo models!!!

I love my BD even more now, just swapped out my GT tranny for an RS tranny & rear LSD (the GT tranny was having some issues after a build from a broken shift fork.) It's back in tip-top shape and better than ever. On times like tonight where it was foggy/misting/flurries, you can notice that LSD back there.

The body is in such great shape (no dings, dents since I got it refinished like 3 years ago), could use a buff though, chassis is pretty well set up, only a few more things and that area and it would be perfect, though more power is always desired and if I decide to keep it, a new short block would be on the list of things to do.

Ah, decisions, decisions. It's such a sleeper as it is, hard to tell anything is done to it. :D

Nice pics. I guess I really am a Scoobie Newbie since I don't even recognize some of the older Subies.
