View Full Version : An icon for site

I think the site needs an icon, perhaps of a mini legacy?, so that I can click on it among my bookmarks instead of seeing that piece of paper with the fold on the corner. Coming from IS300.net, which has one that's a front view of a IS300.

Just a suggestion :)

I like this idea. By the way, sort of off topic. I use the dreaded Internet Explorer. For a while when I first reformat my computer and use the bookmarks that have icons, they will remain there for a short while. Then all of a sudden, they won't display anymore. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have this problem also. I'm using Mozilla Firefox, though.

I always had that problem (among many other problems) with IE, too. I love Safari :)

ICON sounds a great idea but there is a cost associated to get this happening unless someone can design one free who is a member.

Possible icons?

The GT one may be the way to go, you might even be able to go with the Subaru Logo or STi logo for that matter ?

I'm for the GT if that turns out to be the final site name.

Friend of mine made up a bunch of icons for the site, actually. Chad has them, not sure if any could be used for a favicon, though.
(Thanks, Rich!)

Well if you were to pass some of these ideas onto yr friend from this thread, do you think that they could do a few examples up. Just a thought. Thanks Stef.

It's simple enough to do, but I find favicons to be cheesy- especially if it's something that's just a shrunk down icon. I've seen some nicely designed custom ones though.

I think its just a case of finding one to suit all and just going for it.
