That is surprisingly light for a factory wheel. Who is the OE wheel manufacturer for Subaru?

No joke....the stock rims on my Rx-8 were 23lbs, but 18x8. When I get my new wheels I will do a comparison.

If you think that's bad, you should try my Mini Cooper S on for size. OEM 17" rims are.... get ready....a smidge over 25 lbs.
During winter I ran some 15" rims that were only 16.5lbs and the difference was shocking.
In any event, I'm definitely considering trading in for an LGT, so the 18lb weight is good news indeed.

How about the 2.5i?
Come to think about it, I'll be lazy and also ask if you could kindly provide the width of said wheel.

The 2.5i uses a 16x6.5" wheel. I don't know of the wheel weight, but based on previous examples, they are likely to be in the 16.5-17lb range.
