Are the gauges actually like that? (I know they do a needle sweep, but do the white numbers/letters actually not show up until the end of the sweet ala the STi or are they on all the time (or painted on or whatever) and the needles just sweep over the white numbers?
They are just like in the clip, the needles sweep round and then the numbers illuminate.

Yes, they call it 3 stages display, it can be disable follow by the instructions as documented in owner's manual. But who will disable this? :D
I use a digital camera to take continues photos, then merge them together in an animation GIF format.
