We've decided to make a 2006 calendar with pics of people's cars (2004-2006 Legacy's), so start sending us your entries!
We will select a total of 13 entries (1 per month plus the cover), and we'd like a nice variety of car, color and backgrounds.
Requirements:
Any pic you have taken of your 2004 - 2006 Legacy - any body, any engine. You must be willing to give us permission to use the pic in the calendar and market it.
You should have the pic in JPG format, 1725 x 1350. Attach a smaller thumbnail of the pic to this thread. We can resize your image (if selected) for you.
Picture:
We'd like a variety of colors, body, engines and backgrounds. Any 'pose', angle, action shot, sexy shots, etc. Feel free to send multiple pics! International pics encouraged.
What you get:
All winners will get free stickers. The picture chosen for the cover will get free stickers, a free calendar, and the ability to brag that their car is a 'covergirl'.

Awww..... None of my pictures are that big. Is it a requirement for entry to have the pictures that large? I'll start taking them that big, but I've got some good ones that are probably smaller than 1725 x 1350.

Well, I can read between the lines, I hope certain other people can, too!!
However, I would encourage Tide to reconsider the '04-'06 requirement, as there are many great older Legacies here that are more calendar worthy than my bone stock '05 LGT or '06 Outback. Perhaps the wording could be something like "the calendar will be skewed more toward the '04-'06 models".
For those who have previously indicated a possible willingness to participate in an LGT.com calendar, now's the time to step up to the plate!!;)
Ok ok, any Legacy. Of course they will still be picked by the mods. Lets put a Thanksgiving week deadline on the calendar so I can get them up before December.

There have been some great examples of both so far. It's for Tide and the mods to decide, but I would think everything should be considered.

having your license plate blocked out .. hmm .. touchy subject. i could really careless but i guess for safety sake if you don't want to get stalked i can see why. too bad we don't have a generic LGT.com cardboard replacement (like you get at the dealers) to replace the plate with. *hint hint* somebody *hint hint*

I'd like to congratulate F1anatic for being the first to somewhat take Tide's suggestion of submitting a sexy pic. It was quite clear to me that our leader was trying to run with the idea of a "Girls of LGT.com" calendar, but he was being politically correct about it. *I tried to talk my wife into posing with her new Outback, but she wouldn't go for it. Had the calendar contest been announced sooner, I would have made the purchase of the car conditional on posing.

There is already tension about how much more time I spend with the Legacy than I do with her :lol: I'll see what I can do though.... Little cold for sexy shots now though. I'm jelouse...wish i could put the $$ into my car...however, i did just drop $2400 on a snowmobile, now i got another toy to play with in the winter besides my Leggy!

Thanks. :) That is actually just the look of a blue car reflecting the lighter blue sky. I love that view on fenders. The fenders have got to be the best looking part of the car when you are trying to photograph them. They reflect light from more angles than any other surface of the car almost. Damn sexy fenders...

Here are my submissions....
My photochop skills suck (as in non-existant) so blanking out the license plate didn't quite turn out so hot but if it makes the calendar, I can submit the original pic for hopefully a better job. :)
The pics are downsized versions and can submit original version upon request.
The original size of the last two pics aren't quite 1725 x 1350 but are about 16xx x 12xx.
