This site is on a personal webserver at a large hosting company. Since its my own machine, its easy to add storage and memory. What won't be easy is paying for bandwidth if needed. We'll see how it goes. ;)

I don't think it will in any way grow in an exponential way or specific numbers per month, I know as being one of the first people on Cobb's WRXForum, but in the what will be 2 years this end of March, we're up to closing on 4000 members, but a LOT of them are WRX or RS owners and many don't plan on trading up for a more costly Legacy or look at them as equals based on past model specs. I just don't think in the first 6 months we'll be hitting 1000. The Legacy in the enthusiast realm, at least here in the U.S. is a few and far between thing.

The difficulty is a small forum starting something up with dealers. However, maybe Legacy aftermarket will overcome that of the Impreza, and there will be more focus and potential of a Legacy site.

I don't know, I don't think it got out of hand on the Cobb forum, but it's all in how you look at it. Most were given for one reason or another, like one person's 'Something Aweful' or for Saleen 'Running on all 8 Supercharged Cylinders' or 'What's for Lunch' as one person always seems to ask what he should have for lunch. It really isn't delegated by post count, but by events you've done, and generally if you've been there longer and more influential. Influence doesn't mean post count. I just post a lot here because I like being involved and am rather outspoken, and it's a pretty good forum. Most of my posts are relevant in one way or another. I see a lot of posts I just browse and go to the next one to clear the update feature. BTW, I like that showing you what you have/haven't read. That's really handy. :D

We don't have avatars on the other forum though, so I guess the names are a bit of expression in one way, shape, or form. :)

I was just going to look back at my estimated 1year membership numbers. I think I'll be a little off as it's been going like gangbusters! I said 1450 by 1 year (Dec31), but I'm going to say we'll have that by sometime in October now! Probably top 1700 for the first year though, that ain't bad at all!

ROFL... I have noticed this... When you look at the new posts, jedimaster always seems to be the "last posted by" on every one of them :p
