View Full Version : Where to find nice roads in SoCal??

Thinking about going for a nice drive in SoCal this weekend...somewhere with trees on both sides...along a river/lake...up in the mountains...places like that...where do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance :)

There are a couple of canyon roads around the L.A. area there is Bouquet Canyon, Big Tujunga Cyn., Angeles Hwy. to name a few. Don't take Mullholand I think there is a crack down on canyon drivers in that area.

julian out past alpine on 8 east. its san diego county btw. there are mountains up there too that way.

WRX_LGT--I'll try some of those...been up to Angeles Crest a few times, but kinda uncertain if I can get out of the mountains if I go in too deep :D (yaya..I know...it's the mountains man...one way in and one way out :lol: )
