I go to school in the East Bay and was wondering if there were any good and cheap tinting places for my LGT wagon. I was planning on doing all the back windows and the moonroof.
I work in the East Bay too and I'm still looking for a good place too. I heard of a good place in Livermore that everyone seems to recommend, but I can't remember the name of the company now. Let me know if you find one.

Call Andy at Tint on Wheels: 510-506-8468. He's mobile, does good work, prices are competitive and guarantees his work in writing! He'll come out to you if you have a garage and power outlet to work in. He also does work for several dealerships so you know he's good.
He did both my 00 Outback and my 05 Legacy Wagon.
Tell him "Ron Z from Sacto" sent you... And tell him he still owes me!

Check out Auto Mall Tint Specialist here. (http://www.automalltintfactory.com/index.html)
They have good selection of films, and do a pretty good job, probably not the cheapest though, but you get what you pay for IMO.

I had AMTS tint my '05 Outback XT.. they did a very good job. I got Suntek HP 30% on rear 3 windows, 35% on rear seat side windows, and V-Kool 70% on front seat side windows and sunroof. I paid $400 for everything. Not the cheapest, but I am happy with the quality of the work.

the livermore one is probably omega tintwerks. I hear they're good and cheap. The owner guy quoted me $200 for rear 5 windows and moonroof.
