I have 5 18x8 5x100mm 51mm Silver SSR Comps wheels

They do not fit with my suspension - Zeal coilovers and cusco sways.

The have never been on the ground just test fitted on the car.- since I mounted tires to them ,I owned them the vendor refused to take them back .

Please check your clearances carefully.

http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

I have the 17"x7" 48 mm offsets from the factory so my clearances were reduced
16 mm on inside and 10 mm on outside. That was enough for me to rub on inside with my 245x45x18 S-02 tires . They worked just fine my 18x7.5 Kazera KZ-T that I got from the tire rack which had a 48mm offset. The SSR should have fit but didn't.

Tirerack sells these wheels for our cars.

I paid ~$2300 for these one of my more expensive mistakes. I learned a lesson of who I will not to do business with in the future since I bought the suspension from the same person [ I will not divulge the name so don't ask].

I will sell them at bargain price of $1100 under one condition - you pick them up in Ga at Topspeed and make sure they fit your car before you pay for them .

I really don't want anyone else to go through what I did.

PM or Email me iff you are interested.

Thanks Charile

holy crap if i lived in GA i would buy them RIGHT now.

(assuming i didnt have clearance issues as well)

That is why I want the buyer to try them on . I was supprised and I will not do that to anyone else.

While you are there is there is a brand new Magnus manifold - for $400 that has never been used . It is not pretty but works. Another of my mistakes.

woah, that's odd, why doesnt it fit?! what is it rubbing on exactly? just on the spring perch? This concerns me a lot since this will produce conflicts with my FAQ. Funny thing is that I have plenty of room left on my car for wider tires. I think 3mm or 5mm spacers would fix this expensive issue and so you can keep your rims.

3mm:

I also have to wonder why you are having clearance problems. As you have mentioned, the wheels are closer to the inside by 16mm and outside by 10mm. I am running 18x8.5 SSRs with 48mm offsets so they are closer to the inside and outside by 19mm and I don't have clearance issues with GPMoto coilovers.

So anyone not running Zeals, this is an excellent deal on awesome wheels.

I just want a break even on wheels.

I brought these wheels for ~$1100 and I am sure they will fit and allow large tires if I want.

http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/reverb/reverb.html

18"x8.5" 5x100mm 35 mm off set.

6 mm less on inside than stock and 32mm more on outside where I have plenty of room - it is an Outback after all.

That is a damn shame those were the ones i was looking at, well if i had the money.

If you end up taking them back to Bean Town let me know...

Yeah...they should fit. I have 18x8 ET48 with 245/35 and no rubbing. So 3mil matters in this case, eh?

typo? or are you REALLY selling 5 @ that price?

TireRack shows that fitment as no problem for the OBXT, and we all know how conservative they are. I would surmise that it's the Zeal's that eat up the inside clearance then. Anybody running a stock suspension or springs only near Atlanta should snap these up quick. [Or, PM me and we'll work something out for your time ;) ]

that's really really odd because the stock spring perch takes up A LOT MORE space than a set of Zeals...

Anyone want my R1 Racing GTR9 rims with Yoko Advans A048s 225/40/18 (15% tread left) for $1100?

just a suggestion... your 7.5" Kazeras fit.. so the SSRs are 0.25" wider on the inside.. + the 3mm offset difference between the 2 wheels is 9mm or so.

it APPEARS a 10mm spacer would solve your issues?

My Kazeras some how dissappeared at a previous shop - they did fit. They were only 7.5 wide and chaep so no real loss.

Again on my list of what not to do.

Rod will go to Topspeed this afternoon if that is Ok with them.
