Would it be possible to transplant a JDM one? (obviously the physical issues no one can really know right now) Will we be able to get compatible map DVD's for the US? I remember that for a long time (still?) Audi wasn't offering their lcd screen nav system in the US, and the biggest problem was finding map cd's that would work, radio functionality, etc. The aftermarket only recently started getting compatible US map cd's.
So how much is integrated into the JDM NAV? I heard of the accelerometers, but in the pics I noticed at least two other measurements.
I know someone will say "Get such and such aftermarket system..." Stock=good. I don't want some fisher-price bling-bling system waiting for thieves. And of course fit/finish always suffers unless we have perfect din openings. Which we don't.
