Do you mean the key for the crankshaft pulley? I would believe any EJ series work, but I don't know for sure. If that's what you're referring to, make sure when you put the crank pulley back on that you torque the thing to 110-120 lbs/ft (whatever that is in metric) as the manuals I've seen usually read 80 or 90 which is wrong. The pulley is very likely to come off and possibly ruin your crankshaft that way.

I thin u r correct, cus the guy told me that he would probably need a new crank shaft. But u see, I have to import parts and so i need to get costs etc. What is a VIN#?

Vehicle Identification Number - the unique identifier as determined by the manufacturer adhering to government standards for specific vehicle information that may contain extra that the manufacturer deams noteworthy. My car starts out JF1BJ6 which indicates its country of manufacture (Japan) and chassis type (MK I Legacy wagon). People say VIN#, but its actually redundant. Anyway, you should find yours on the dashboard near the windshield if your certificate of title doesn't include that info. It should also be located on the information tag on the driver's door jamb.

Thanx,
We call it a chassis # here. Do have any recommendations for the customization of a 1991 Legacy wagon?
