Anyone know if any reputable tuning shops in the San Francisco Bay area? I just bought an Outback XT and am contemplating coil-overs and other misc mods, and would need the assistance of a GOOD shop if I decide to mod the car. Thanks!

Moved to the Northern California regional section. Unfortunately I don't know any off the top of my head.

For tuning, Gruppe-s (http://www.gruppe-s.com) is decent. Vishnu is around the area too. For parts installs, LIC Motorsports (http://www.licmotorsports.com/) is up in Novato, but I don't think they do tuning, only installs.
My favorite is S-Squared (http://www.ss-ms.com) in Sacramento. They may be a bit of a drive, but I think they are worth it.

For suspension/tires/brakes, Custom Alignment in Mountain View. I'll be getting my coilovers put on there next week. MPJ Performance in Hayward also does installs. Or send a PM to Mann Engineering on this board.

If you are in the south bay we carry parts and are able to provide installation services as well.
Thanks,
Gary

I-Speed is now located in Oceanside, which is pretty much near San Diego. That makes it about a 8-ish hour drive from Sac/SF.

I thought I-Speed might've had two shops.

I-Speed blows donkey balls...
Another Bay Area tuner well worth consideration and a phone call/e-mail before deciding, is EQ Tuning (www.eqtuning.com). Ed there freaking ROCKS! He spends so much time with every customer making sure everything is 101%, and he's an extremely talented tuner.
I've been tuned by three Bay Area people, and Ed is above and beyond :)
