Tentative Schedule
July 17, 2005
- Meeting at Mach V motorsports
- Ride out towards The Plains or towards Harper's Ferry, then back into Leesburg for the BBQ.

I would be interested if it were on a date I could attend, could bring some other friends (non-lgt guys) and was not a 100 mile drive to get there. lol.

Well, we are tentatively doing a BBQ at my house when Drift Monkey is in town on 7/17 - not sure I have enough room for more than about 15-20 people, but it would be a fun end point to a ride.

I highly doubt we'd get more than 10 or so people to show up... but 15-20 would be awesome.
Do you have parking at your house to accomodate that many cars? (we gotta be able to line them all up for at least a few pictures)
IF you dont mind doing it at your house on the 17th, (or maybe i shoudl sya, if your wife doesnt mind) then let's make it official.

meet somewhere out in the nova region thats easy for everyone to get too. Maybe back at MachV motorsports like last time becuase we know how to get there.
Go for a drive out through the back roads... maybe down to the plains? Skyline drive might be a bit far, but would kick ass if everyone was up to it.
end up at Pat's house for a BBQ. everyone chip in a few bucks for food, or bring some of there own.
there is plenty of parking behind my house. Just need to get my deck done and inspected in time (hopefully by this weekend).
We could meet at Mach V (though they will be closed since it's a weekend), then ride out towards The Plains or up up Rt 9 towards Harper's Ferry, then back into Leesburg for the BBQ.

We're no slackers. We're open 12-5 on Saturdays. But yes, closed Sundays.

Nope, I will be on the track Friday for FATT; Saturday for part 1 of HDPE #3 at hyper fest, and Sunday for part 2 of HDPE #3.

Have you guys checked out the site? I know it's about referrals and 1 company helping out another but ... do i really need to create a NASA/SCCA account before I can sign up for a hyperdrive? Sheesh.
Maybe I'll just go early and put my name on the list.
Oh, for those who are going... definitely bring a walkie talkie. I used to have Sprint and there was no signal out there. I had some friends check theirs (ranging from T-mobile to AT&T) and they barely had signal.

I'm definitely going to be there on saturday. Depending if my cousin wants to go, i might go sunday since he might get the shaft and have to work saturday. Hopefully there's enough slots for the hyperdrive. I want to take the legacy out for a spin.
On thursday night or friday of, we'll just pick a primary channel and a backup channel and post it here. for me I'll just check saturday morning before I head out and write it down on a sticky.
Do they have the full schedule posted yet? I can't check the site from work. =(.
Maybe someone should start a separate 'Hyper-Fest' thread? We lost track of the purpose of this thread.....to plan a meet for the Mid-A LGT owners.

Well, I offered a BBQ for Sunday at my place but it seemed everybody was down for Hyper-Fest instead. If you guys want, we can still do this...but, I need to know ASAP how many people we will have coming.

I'll be putting new springs on my car on Saturday, but in the event that i don't know what i'm doing - i might be finishing up the work on Sunday.
So anyhow, put me down as being there unless you're planning on meeting early sunday and i have catosrophic failure with my springs.
It's sort of open right now....no real plans. M and I are usually up early, so as soon as people want to post, that's cool with me. I just need a head count for food/beer for now....

hey man, if you all are up for helping me out --- i would be more than happy to bring my car and the springs and do them at the meet.

how long you think it would take to do with a couple of knowledgeable people on the job?
an hour or two tops.
If you mean at my place.... I have spring compressors and a small air compressor + tools, plus floor jack and stands. It would be helpful if somebody brought a second jack in case we need to use it to compress the suspension when putting everything back together.

If you think that people wouldnt' mind it turning into a 'let's install rallispec's stuff' party -- then i'd welcome the help. It'd be a great learning experience.
I'll probably still try and do it myself with my brother on Saturday, but it's nice that I might at least have a second option if all else fails.
I could bring some tools and a jack as well.
Well, we will be installing some stuff for DM and maybe pulling my Perrin sway bars to paint them (and respray DM's grill....he got a little excited with the epoxy when installing the mesh). I have room for one car in the garage and another behind in the driveway, so the more the merrier.
I have a six jackstands, a big floorjack and ramps. Another set of the same will let us have two cars going at the same time. ;)

thats a good question. i suppose it's up to PGT, but i'd suggest that we all meet at his place, becuase it doesnt sound like everyone is going to be able to plan on showing up at MachV at the same time.
If we can meet at PGT's, we can all make it over there at our own pace, and then go for an afternoon drive if we were so inclined.
Meeting at my place is fine. There is no parking out front...it's a dead-end street. There is plenty of parking behind the house on the main road in...we'll just have to rotate cars around the block based upon what we are working on. I'll PM you guys my address and cell number.
I am down for a late afternoon drive, if all goes well with installs and everyone is up for it. I was going to have some beer on ice, but if we plan to go drive I'll nix it and have soda instead.
How about this....I'll make up a batch of my world famous burgers and have soda. You guys bring the chips, snacks etc?
