I am going on vacation to Japan in a few months, where should I go and how do I source some Subaru stuff? I am flying into Osaka.

Wish I could help you. Never been there myself although I'd love to. Maybe I'll try moving this to the regional forum Japan and hopefully it might help?

It depends on what type of Subaru stuff you are looking for - Subaru dealers will carry a lot of basic stuff and STi stuff, but you may need to order it and wait a week for the parts to arrive. Super Autobacs, Yellow Hat and some other chain stores will carry a lot of stuff as well, but be careful, much of it will be for the older Legacy twin-turbo's.

I'd say Super Autobacs Shinonome is place to be for Subaru parts and accessories. Also, there is a shop in Kasukabe Saitama that sells only used Subaru parts, maybe a good idea to drop by there. Also, don't forget AVO :)

Thanks guys, we are flying into Osaka and I have no idea where anything is. My sister should be able to help in that department.... Hopefully I can check out the places you recommended.

If you want to visit the best that Osaka has to offer, I would suggest visiting Signal Auto and also the Rays Engineering factory, both in/ near Osaka.
Signal produces some of the most radically-tuned cars ever, and Rays is, well, Rays.

I lived in Osaka for all of 1997 (5 minute walk from Triangle Park/ Amemura) and would give a lot to travel back in time and do it all again. I am sure you'll love it too.

Great people, great sites, great energy!

sounds like great ideas guys. Thanks. The wife is giving me a full day of car-related site seeing so these ideas will help me make the most of it.
