Any thoughts on what kind of weight the AT/Turbo will be able to pull? I'm guessing around 1,500lbs? I have a motorcycle and trailer that I take to the track, so I'm hoping this will not be a concern.

The WRX is rated to tow 2000 lbs, my local dealership proudly displays a photo of a Wagon towing 2 jet-skis plus gear. I think the Leagcy will be better for towing, more low down torque.

check the specs for the turbo forester. that should give you a pretty good idea of what this thing can tow.

Just looked it up. It's 2400 with the manual, 2000 with the auto. I think that should give you a good idea.

The foreign numbers are always higher than US Specs. It really shows they need a bigger vehicle in the lineup for a 4000+lb cap.

Bob Holland would definitely agree. Me, too.

What bike do you take to the track? I have a Yamaha FZ-1 and the roommate has a Yamaha R-6 and a Honda 400 which he's going to race in AMA this year.

2003 Yamaha R6, I race at Portland International Raceway. It's expensive, but it's the only place you can really use the bike the way it's meant to be used. Nothing like hitting 155+ on the back straight!

Too bad we can't attach pictures, I have some from my track days last year.

You can attach, there are just size restrictions (160k).

I've been to Thunderhill on my bike, lots of fun. I dont want to race bikes though like my roommate.

Yeah, I want to go to Thunderhill one day. I don't want to "race" per se. But some spirited competition while I'm at the track is great.
