FACTORY DELIVERY

Does anyone have any information whether one can arrange for a factory delivery rather than at their local dealer?

Your best bet would be to contact Subaru Canada but I don't like your chances since they are essentially a distribution and marketing agent for the dealerships.

Do you mean from the factory directly to your home? I doubt it. From the factory the cars are loaded onto trains and/or trucks and distributed. In order to get it from the factory, they'd have to arrange for special shipping, which would cost a lot more than the standard delivery fee.

I believe he means picking it up in SIA like European Delivery for different brands. I would guess that it is not an option. The idea could be that if he is in Canada, he brings in into the country as a used car after having driven it in the US and therefore save some money.
