UK accessories - additional storage options

From the Subaru UK site. I assume these fit USDM. MY04 in the UK is MY05 here.

Apparently fits non-Ltd GT wagons only (like mine :) )

I would welcome some additional up front storage. But, I'm not sure if it would get in the way when shifting the 5-speed manual. A similar option on my friend's A4 is a pain for him because he is always hitting it with his elbow.

I've seen the arm rest extension in the US brochure. But that overhead bin is pretty neat, too bad I'm getting a sedan. My girlfriend would fill that in a heartbeat.

I can't quite tell how much extra storage you get with the overhead. Is it just the center piece that flips down or does the panel on the end open as well?

The Forester has overhead storage. Works fine based on my test drive. But, I'm not sure how this option compares to the Forester set up.

The Forester one would be tiny compare to this. I don't think I've seen a huge one like this which runs through the whole lenght of the roof ...
