It's time for another Mach V dyno day!

Details are same as always, but just to review:

What: Mach V June Dyno Day
Where: 45064-B Underwood Lane
Sterling, VA 20166
(703) 435-5000
When: Saturday, June 11, 9am until 5pm

If you haven't seen us advertise this before, dyno day offers the chance to get a baseline or updated dyno numbers on your car for a smaller fee than on normal workdays. Cost is $75 for AWD cars ($60 for 2WD), and $25 additional for air/fuel analysis. Slots are 40 minutes, which is usually enough for 3-4 pulls. It's a great social educational event, too, as lots of people come to watch and compare notes.

We go above and beyond those "other" dyno days, too: You can take away your dyno results on a USB key if you would like, otherwise we will e-mail them to you, so you can store/analyze/post your results to your heart's content.

Call to reserve a slot. I have two slots left. (Sorry, I forgot I hadn't posted it here.)

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing all of you.

Dan, how would you like to do a before and after tune/dyno? Anyway I can get a deal on that? I'd like to get some before and after numbers on the FMIC. I might make the trip if this is possible.

Thanks!

Dan, how would you like to do a before and after tune/dyno?

I'd like to do that, but that definitely CANNOT happen on dyno day. First, we don't have any mechanics at the shop on Saturdays. Second, dyno day slots are 40 minutes -- you're talking about a MUCH longer time required. Best bet is to call me to book a normal weekday tuning session, which would be for 1-2 hours.

Re-reading your post, Firehawk, I was assuming you wanted to do a dyno run, change a part (FMIC?) and/or tune the car, then dyno again, on the same day. Is that what you meant?

Hey Dan, yeah... essentially that's all there would be to it. Setup a map for stock TMIC and then tweak one for the FMIC and see what happens... obviously I wouldn't expect anything amazing since there wouldn't be a ton of air on the FMIC, but I'd like to get a general idea of what to expect with the change. I don't think it'd take me more than 5-8 minutes to take the TMIC off and put the other piping into place.
