This car is stock except for an AccessPort Stage 1.

Sorry, I don't have a pic of this one on the dyno. It's got an up pipe, a downpipe, and a reflash.

Standard disclaimer: Although this is fairly anonymous, if you don't want your data posted, let me know.

Lots more pics and charts here at our web site (http://www.fastwrx.com/dynoday43005.html). <--(click the link)

Thanks to everyone who showed up! Next dyno day coming soon.

Interesting how stock car with Accessport Stage I puts out more torque than the car with uppipe, downpipe, and reflash. Then again, the car in the second graph has a broader high torque range than the Accessport Stage I car.

damn that first car is sexy. ;)

also discussed in the turbo powertrains forum (link (http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12017))

as for the second car - they apparently have realized some pretty bad exhuast leak issues which are most likely the cuase of the lower numbers.

the second graph has a broader high torque range than the Accessport Stage I car.
look at the scale on the top graph vs. the bottom one... the first goes to 8k rpm, the second only to 7k on the X axis.

if you use the same X and Y the two plots look much closer

It looks to me like the first car is running more peak boost to get that torque peak. Whether that's a good thing (long-term) or not is hard to say...

An up pipe and downpipe are going to help a lot more if you change out the cat-back exhaust. Without that, you'll see less benefit from freeing up the front of the exhaust.

Ah okay thanks for clearing it up guys. My bad for missing the values on the x-axis.
