Thanks!
Yeah, I really like how they made all the pillars black so the tint makes it look like the glass wraps all the way around.
Now for the "go" mods!

Please go kill whoever put that "Subaru Auto Center" sticker on -- IT ISN'T STRAIGHT!!
Remove it immediately!!
P.S. The wagon looks hot though :)

Light debadging on the way.

Yeah, I will have to wash the car this weekend and get some pics.. I am in between computer builds so it's been a pain in the arse. The car is lovely though. I will try to get some pics this weekend!

Hey Kevin,
What about if the rims were 'silver' or 'gold?'
As far as the 'rim' itself goes, I figured lots of people liked them for their strength, style, and other characteristics -- especially WRX's.
I assume the fit on the legacy wagon is AOK...

Hmmm...silver might be interesting. A friend has P1s on his sedan, and it looks really nice. It's something about the wagon. The fit was perfect. They are only slightly different, offset-wise (+53 vs stock +55).
They are the strongest wheel I have ever had on a car, one thing that makes me think about keeping them for winter wheels, vs. trading for a set of stock wheels for winter wheels. The GT wagon is the third car they have been on, still true as the day they arrived from Rallispec.
Dr. Z, I think that conspicuous is the word I would choose. They are definitely attention-grabbing wheels. On the up side, brake dust isn't at all noticeable.

Would you ever tint the car? Might be interesting to see what Silver rims with the rear few windows tinted would look like?
I don't know that I would tint a car...geez, I don't even like the tinting rear view mirror, now that I know what they are like.
But, I think the wheels themselves look very nice, as does the wagon. I opted for the sedan, this time around.
I'd say keep 'em for the winter/meets (if you go to anymore?)

Anyway you want to say it Kevin.. I love those wheels and they are one of my favorites hands down! I would love a set of 18s.. BLING BLING! :P

I'm with you on the tinting thing. If it didn't come tinted, it isn't going to get tinted. But as usual, that's just me.
I think if I weren't a cyclist, and didn't have a dog, and...naaah, I still would have gotten a wagon. Who am I kidding?

By the way, as long as you're into debadging, I took off the sticker on the roof rail. The info it provided seemed obvious to me.

Maybe a dumb question, but how does the aftermarket tinter deal with the rear defroster? Won't tint film cause problems?

The guy who did mine fit the tint right over the inside of the rear window. I haven't noticed any problems with it. The optical clarity through the rear window is the same as it ever was and the rear defroster seems to be none the wiser. And the defroster is certainly getting a workout this winter.

Here is my 1998 Legacy Wagon! A true California girl if I ever saw one. And yes, it's a right hand drive. We got it new in 1998 special ordered from the factory for the Postal Service for my mom. The car is retired now, I bought it from my mom last year and it just came back from some repair work last week. I love my gold and black dragon on it! The picture was taken just today. (Don't know if the link works, but the attachment feature wouldn't.)

Picked my new legacy up in Nov and have loved it.
Thought I'd share a picture.
