not too bad. i'm using dunlop winter sports on my wrx. i tried going through a winter on the original all-weathers and it was no good. too much power and not enough traction - not a good combination.

Snow? What's that? I'm in east coast and it never snows here. Well, I hear it did once about 20 years ago but it melted as it hit the ground.

(See what I mean about East Coast being too general?)

Got 36" of snow here in Beverly about a month ago. I'm surrounded by water so its unusual for me to get as much as the surrounding in-land areas, but no problem after a little shoveling. The people who spin out of control are usually the ones who can't drive.

My car seems to be absolutely unstoppable in the snow. I live in southern vermont, and there are some pretty shady roads out here. I often end up passing all sorts of cars that have given up and pulled over. A lot of 4WD vehicles too...

Yeah we got a lot of snow.

And with the stock tires on my 04 TS I didn't get the most traction. However, it was fun drifting around every turn ;)

I gotta get some GOOD all seasons. Why the hec can't subaru put something good on these cars stock?

I've been asking that question for a while Kuth, probably because they get such a great deal on RE92s and its an overall tire which may improve mileage the slightest bit.

I will say I did have fun out on the lake with our K2500 pickup today. Used it as the timing vehicle for ice races (we must have some 14-18" of ice in that bay), and I had to take it out for a couple of fun-runs. I wasn't too far off the rest of the pack, but at probably 5000+ lbs, she isn't the lightest thing. But I did have some respectable times. :D I'll say I went through some massive drifts and didn't get stuck with those nice Yokohama tires we picked out for it from Tire Rack.

I had a FUN time. :D
