I really want a a blue car, for some reason I am hooked on blue. I've seen the pics of the Regal Blue, and I love the color of it in the sunlight, but I'm not fond of how it looks black without the direct sunlight.

Anyone have pics of the Atlantic Blue, I'm seeking as many pics as possible. I'm looking for pics of the GT Limited sedan.

Thanks

- Mike

There are AB pics littered in this forum. You're just not looking quite hard enough! :)

RB does not look "Black" without direct sunlight, just very very dark.

Atlantic blue is a really interesting color. If RB *DID* look 'black' without direct sunlight, then AB would look grey in the same circumstances.

It is like grey, with a blue tint. But it isn't an intense "pure" blue, but rather a metal/steel sheen. It is difficult to describe, but it looks really interesting in person! I still can't decide between white, regal blue, or atlantic blue. I'm thinking I may go with AB just because I've never really seen anything else with that color.

I wish the regal blue was more like the ocean Blue Audi has. In direct sunlight, the RB looks amazing and kinda looks a little bit like the Audi's Ocean Blue.

I have a blue thing too. I had to have Regal blue. absolutely no other color would do. I looked a long time at Atlantic blue pearl. It is quite gorgeous in the sunlight, but at twilight, it looks green/aqua. Actually kind of changes color in the light as well. At night, I'm assuming it'll be more green. Very cool if that's what you like. Go to the lot. They have Baja's in that color.

You will find pics of Atlantic Blue on this site and on the web, but none is truly faithful. You really, really, have to see it in person. It is a "trick" color, worth the trip to the dealer.

I still wish we could get one of the Rally Blues (either World Rally Blue, or even better Blue Rally Pearl)

Does it look different under "natural" light? I only saw it under flourescent lights inside the dealership and AB did nothing for me. Looked like a blue I just saw on a new Camry.

Yes, color varies a lot with lighting conditions. I first saw it under overcast sky and it looked ordinary. But under the sun, the color is complex and changes according to the angle of vision. That's why I said is is tricky.

It is a rich, classy color, not a flashy color. Try to view it with an open mind, without preconceptions. Just don't expect anything near World Rally Blue however.

Thanks Bernard... I only saw it in the lighted showroom on a cloudy day. I might have to take another peek. ;)

There are quite a few pics of the AB around the forum, and none of them do the color justice. I have mentioned before, and will state again, that I do not like blue cars. Having said this (and having seen AB in person), I do like the color.

I saw it on a sunny day, but it gives me the impression it will appear different from lighting condition to lighting condition. My best analogy is that it is similar to a gun-metal blue.

I take delivery of my AB sedan tomorrow. I'll see if I can take some good pics because it's supposed to be sunny. :)

Even that pic doesn't do that color justice. It's a very rich color as I have observed up close.

Beautiful car Opie. And the color is very close to the what it looks like, although it has to be seen in person for best effect.

Got more :?:

I saw your post in the other forum, but if you got more views of the exterior, they would be downloaded a lot I guess...
