Good question...I had the cover off for the TMIC, so I don't really know. It sat low enough and to the right that it looks like you could still have the cover on. Might do a search and see if anyone has had the problem!

Is the Borla CBE front flange a donut gasket type or a flat gasket type? How does it mate up to a stock DP? Does it bolt up with the stock hardware and what size gasket does this require?

The exhaust utilitzes the stock donut gasket from the downpipe, and that's it. I attached it to a cobb DP, but the gasket came from the stock down pipe, so that leads me to believe it would attach perfectly to the stock dp. It required no additional gaskets. I reused the 2 stock bolts (the ones with the springs on them to allow for some flex). All the other pieces attach with compression rings that are supplied. Very, very easy to install, even better sound!!
