This 97 LGT has changed hands twice since I sold it. Last I heard it had 240k on it when the owner at that time put a rebuilt engine in it. I wonder if it's still out there on the road where it belongs.

In 2000 I took a weekend and drove from Seattle to Long Beach WA. Long beach is a coastal town N of Astoria (Where they filmed 'The Goonies'). The beach itself is 26 miles acceptable by SUV, but you could get a car out there if you tried.

I didn't want to run the risk of rust on my 97 LGT so I rented an OB. To this day it reminds me of why not to buy ex-fleet cars.

My wife did some donuts and a park ranger showed up and let her off without a ticket because they were quote "Pathetic!".

Stock, apart from the usual hacking the stereo for ipod and the like.
